这组广告在刚刚结束的戛纳国际广告节上获得了铜狮奖。由“国际特赦组织”(也叫“大赦国际”)委托TBWA巴黎所做。广告选用游泳、举重、射箭这三个项目的画面，借奥运体育项目来影射中国虐待囚犯。一些愤怒的中国网民认为，这些广告明显是“摆拍”，“一系列残酷的画面，充分说明了中国人在TBWA法国公司设计师心中的野蛮形象”。还有网友认为，“大赦国际”对中国偏见很深，而法国TBWA的创意更显“流氓”。部分网友甚至号召抵制创意方TBWA公司及其在中国的广告客户。
